Guest House Shower

One final task before starting to drywall the new bathroom and utility room was to install and plumb the shower. The shower kit I purchased had half inch threaded fixture attachments, to which I attached half inch shark bite connectors. The rest of the plumbing was fairly simple.

On the other side, I drilled holes for the shower knob and shower head, and they fit seamlessly with the shower walls.

Due to the number of connectors required to connect the shower, I was concerned about the possibility of leaks in the future. Therefore, I sealed the connections with a combination of WaterWeld (a truly amazing epoxy that sets even in the presence of water) and then covered it in FlexSeal.
