This past week, I put a roof on the shed. It was a several step process. I first had to install aluminum drip edging, then roof felt, then a weather proof barrier, and finally the shingles themselves.

In order to make it easier to nail the shingles down, I purchased a coiled roofing nail gun, which was invaluable.

Despite the nail gun making the process go quickly, it was still hard, hot work in the summer heat.

Over a two day period, I got all of the shingles nailed down, and the roof was complete!
