This spring, I traded in my Porsche for a McLaren 570GT. It’s my first true supercar, and has been unbelievably fun to drive, even if driving something that exotic takes a little bit of getting used to compared to something more traditional like the Porsche.
It fits in very well with the rest of the fleet!
I always try to keep pieces of memorabilia related to the car brands I buy in the garage, and since the McLaren was such a special addition to the collection, I thought it would be cool to put together a true shrine in honor of the McLaren F1 team, including Lando Norris’ championship from the year before, as well as his victory at the 2024 Miami GP, which I’d attended in person. I think the resulting display, including pieces of carbon fiber from his actual race car and a signed Topps Chrome card, looks great:
