The last in a long line of projects to improve the waterfront at the lake house was to bring in a barge service to remove rocks, wood, and tree debris from both the beach and the water, to reshape the sand to be more usable, and to install more concrete steps to make it easier to get to the water.
It was impressive to see how much debris the barge crew was able to remove:

They dug out sand after clearing debris, and I learned we had many more concrete steps than I realized.

Once they finished, I couldn’t have been more impressed with the transformation:

The crew took a truly incredible picture of the world from the water, which I plan on getting framed to hang in the lake house.

Looking at that photo, it’s hard to believe it’s the same waterfront from before!
